AACcelerate

AACcelerate is a 4-week program, that runs 2-3 hours a day, 4 days a week, to provide comprehensive speech and occupational therapy services to jumpstart your child’s communication skills. The program is designed for children with a variety of neuromuscular conditions which impact their ability to access functional communication. It focuses on matching features of a high- and/or low-tech communication system to meet your child’s language and access needs. We meet each child where they are on their journey towards independent communication, and provide comprehensive evaluations to set goals for the program. Upon completion, you will receive a communication roadmap outlining equipment recommendations, strategies for utilizing your child’s communication system at home, and instruction on modeling their language system for all caregivers and providers.
